AI vs Humans what IBM Says

The Corporate Context

Andrew Yeung’s Report
A clear shift has taken place.

In 2023, the expectation was that AI would replace 7,800 workers.
By 2026, the reality became visible:

AI can execute.
But it cannot lead, guide, or build within a human system.

IBM has now reversed direction—tripling entry-level hiring.
The reason is structural:

Without junior talent today, there is no leadership tomorrow.

IBM’s Shift

IBM reached a limit in AI adoption.

  • AI handles technical repetition
  • AI reduces workload
  • AI increases speed

But:

  • It cannot manage clients
  • It cannot navigate people
  • It cannot lead complex product decisions

These roles require:
judgment, communication, and presence

Studio Perspective — Pieter Lategan | STUDIO

This confirms a simple structure:

  • AI supports the system
  • Humans operate the system

The shift is not about replacement.
It is about correct placement.

Technology works in the background.
Humans remain at the front.
